Unfortunately, the buckle on many tactical belts doesn’t fit through the belt loops on a lot of pants. Not to mention, they can be a little stiff for casual EDC wear. Editor’s Note:
While the buckle is small and fits through standard belt loops, that might not be the case with OWB holsters. Although the height would easily fit a standard belt loop on an OWB holster, the thickness may be an issue. I have an EDC belt from another company, with a thinner buckle, and cannot wear my 1791 holster with it.
However, you shouldn’t have any issues if you use an IWB or paddle OWB holster (or similar).
