Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot was mocked and ridiculed by online critics after it produced bizarre images with far-left narratives.

Social media users noticed that the program would impose gender and racial anomalies that didn’t make sense when prompted with certain requests.

“You can create captivating images in seconds with Gemini Apps,” said Google about the application. “From work, play, or anything in between, Gemini Apps can help you generate images to help bring your imagination to life.”

Writer Frank J. Fleming first noted the discrepancies and posted screenshots to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Fleming tried several prompts that showed how the app was set up to wash out white people from its results in favor of images of minorities.

Others started posting their own results from Gemini.

“Google Gemini will show a picture of a black woman but not a white woman. Anti-Whiteness is the regime ideology,” replied Jeremy Carl of the Claremont Institute.

One person asked for images of “British, American, German and Swedish women,” and got images of black people and other minorities.

“It’s embarrassingly hard to get Google Gemini to acknowledge that white people exist,” responded another critic.

Google responds

Jack Krawczyk, the senior director for Gemini Experiences, said on social media that the company would fix the issue reported by users.

“We are aware that Gemini is offering inaccuracies in some historical image generation depictions, and we are working to fix this immediately,” he wrote in part.

“Historical contexts have more nuance to them and we will further tune to accommodate that,” he added. “This is part of the alignment process – iteration on feedback. Thank you and keep it coming!”

Fleming noted that when he asked Gemini to show him images of “pixies,” they all appeared to be white.
