OAKLAND — Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price’s work laptop was stolen during a vehicle burglary Friday, according to media reports.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. outside a family justice center near 27th Street and Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, ABC7 News reported.

“Sources say the DA was told to go online and make a report if she didn’t want to wait for an officer to arrive,” according to ABC7 News.

The laptop was reportedly taken from Price’s security team’s SUV, sources told NBC Bay Area.

There was no word on what documents or other material may have been on the laptop.

The district attorney’s office did not immediately return a request for comment Friday night.
