Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1971 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 Holiday Coupe. It is powered by a numbers-matching 455cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include tilt steering column, four-spoke steering wheel, outside air induction hood, air conditioning, upgraded stereo, and rear spoiler. Finished in light blue with white vinyl top over white vinyl interior, this 4-4-2 is being sold with a clear title.

The Oldsmobile 4-4-2 entered the 1971 model year with a modified grille, round parking lights, and revised taillights. Under the hood was the same 455 and optional W30 455, but General Motors lowered compression across the board. The standard engine fell 25 horsepower to 340, while the W30 fell 20 to 350. An interesting option for the four-speed manual included a dual-disc clutch, which was shared only with the Corvette.

The Nordic Blue exterior features a W25 fiberglass ram air hood with white stripes and twist-lock hood pins, dual sport mirrors with a manual driver-side remote, white vinyl top, white side stripes, W35 rear spoiler, and front and rear bumper guards.

A set of 14-inch Nordic Blue Oldsmobile Super Stock III wheels with trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

The interior is upholstered in white vinyl. Features include front bench seat, tilt steering column with column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, Custom-Sport steering wheel, air conditioning with updated refrigerant, woodgrain accents, and RetroSound stereo with a trunk-mounted JBL amplifier.

The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, and warning lights. The odometer reads 94,668 miles.

Power is provided by a numbers-matching Rocket 455 backed by a replacement Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic transmission.

This Oldsmobile is equipped with an independent front suspension and 10-bolt rear-drive solid axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear with chrome trumpets poking through a notched bumper.
