New city website

Residents are invited to provide feedback on the City of Milpitas’ new website at Milpitas.gov

“Our new website represents a significant step forward in our commitment to improving accessibility for all of our residents, business owners and other stakeholders. Our priority is to make information and resources more readily available to everyone,” Mayor Carmen Montano said in a statement.

The new website is designed to be more user-friendly, with a streamlined navigation menu for residents to quickly locate the information they need, a mobile-responsive design that adapts to any device and screen size for both desktop and mobile devices, a virtual assistant to provide answers to frequently asked questions 24/7 and a tool to translate webpages into languages widely used in the Milpitas community such as Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Spanish and Hindi,as well as some less common ones. Residents can visit the website for email subscriptions to press releases, info memos, newsletters and event announcements.

The website redesign was inspired by community input as well as internal and public feedback. The new site is meant to serve as an enhanced information hub for residents, business owners and other community stakeholders and enable city staff to manage content and provide more timely updates.
