It’s May the Fourth, and you all know what that means. The Force might suggest that you lay your eyes on a uniquely restyled Stingray in honor of Star Wars Day.

This third-generation Corvette shows just 29,353 miles on the odometer, and while the mileage reading is compelling, its design aesthetic is even more of a conversation piece: As the listing states, “This Corvette’s body panels were hand-airbrushed by the renowned Uniontown, Pennsylvania resident Rusty Fecek who spent over 1,000 hours on this car. The Corvette features 20 coats of hand-rubbed lacquer and the richly covered murals have held up well over the last 35 years.”
The Star Wars multimedia franchise dates to 1977, just three years after this Corvette rolled off the assembly line. There have been a total of nine Star Wars films, which include the original trilogy, a “prequel” trilogy, and a sequel trilogy. Release dates have ranged from 1977 through 2019 – and they aren’t finished yet! Yet-untitled films are slated to be released in 2025, 2027, and 2029. The iconic Star Wars pop culture will live in for many years to come.
As for this custom Star Wars-themed C3, under its hood (which bears an image of Darth Vader) is a 383cid stroker V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The side-exit exhaust pipes emit a nice rumble, and the raised-white-letter General tires provide meaty footwork to get all the power to the pavement.
Rusty Fecek’s signature graces the rear of the car along with renderings of some of the Star Wars cast. Unfortunately, Fecek passed away in 2017 at the age of 73, but as the listing states, “He left behind his masterpiece to show his passion for art and automobiles.”
The selling dealer, Gateway Classic Cars, has posted a walkaround video which includes a look at the exterior, the interior, and the engine bay. The car sounds healthy upon start-up and is shown in some driving scenes for your consideration.
The asking price is $50,000 for this piece of Star Wars collector memorabilia, which would look right at home flying through space with Yoda behind the wheel.
