Author of “The Outlier: The Unfinished Presidency of Jimmy Carter” Kai Bird recalls his latest interaction with former President Jimmy Carter during an event celebrating the Carters’ 75th wedding anniversary. Former President Carter will begin receiving hospice care, according to a statement from The Carter Center.
