Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
This Corvette Stingray was repainted black and has a matching removable roof panel. The black exterior is complemented by Stingray emblems, 454 badges on the sides of the cowl induction hood, and a red Corvette emblem on the nose.
It rides on 15-inch Rally wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
“The two-seater cockpit comes equipped with black leather bucket seats, simulated woodgrain trim on the door panels, power steering and brakes, power windows, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo,” the listing states. “In addition, there is a Holley Sniper EFI touchscreen controller mounted on the center of the dashboard.”
This Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 454ci big-block V8 upgraded with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, a COMP Cams Big Mutha’ Thumpr camshaft and lifter kit, Hedman headers, and Flowmaster exhaust. The engine is mated to a four-speed manual transmission with a new clutch.
The sale includes a clear Illinois title, $13,000 in service records, and two SPAL electric fans. The car’s five-digit analog odometer shows 61,970 miles, which the selling dealer states is accurate figure.
