OAKLAND — A man was shot in the stomach Wednesday along an East Oakland roadway, authorities said.
Around 8 p.m., officers responded to a report of ShotSpotter activity in the 5700 block of Foothill Boulevard in the city’s Bancroft business district.
When officers arrived, they found a man conscious, breathing and suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his stomach and provided treatment until paramedics and Oakland Fire Department firefighters arrived.
Police did not share his condition or any associated suspect or vehicle description or motive Wednesday night.
