SAN FRANCISCO — Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 110-106 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.

Brooklyn outscored the Warriors 29-24 to pull the game within two heading into the fourth quarter, and both teams matched each other run-for-run until Golden State made several key stops and shots down the stretch. Klay Thompson stole the game with a 3-pointer to put the Warriors up for with 12.1 seconds remaining.

“Andrew was phenomenal tonight … three blocks and three steals,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. “He’s playing with a lot of confidence.”

Kyrie Irving hit a fadeaway 3 to bring the Nets within a point with 10 seconds remaining. The Warriors pulled away at the free-throw line, as the Nets were over the foul limit.

Rounding out the Warriors top scorers were Stephen Curry who scored 19 points while Thompson chipped in with 16. Jordan Poole and Otto Porter Jr combined for 33 points.

Curry hit another milestone this season, suiting up for the Warriors for the 808th time, passing Chris Mullin as the career leader in games played for the Warriors.

Curry set the NBA’s all-time 3-point record earlier this season and has numerous single-season team marks to his credit, but Kerr said this accomplishment is special.

“I love that particular record just because it signifies his loyalty to the franchise and vice-versa,” Kerr said pregame. “The love affair that exists between Steph and The Bay is pretty unique.”

Mullin spent 13 of his 15 NBA seasons with Golden State, retiring as a Warrior following the 2000-01 season after three seasons with the Indiana Pacers.

For the Nets, Kyrie Irving had 32 points leading all scorers. Patty Mills chipped in with 22. The Warriors conclude the homestand at 6-1. They also have the best home record in the league at 24-4. The Warriors conclude the month on the road for a rematch against the Houston Rockets.
