SAN JOSE – A man and a woman were injured in a shooting Monday night in San Jose, police said.
The shooting was reported at about 6:05 p.m. on the 1300 block of North 1st Street, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Police said both victims were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
People were asked to avoid the area while police conduct an investigation, which appeared to center on Hyde Park Liquors.
Units are currently at the scene of a double shooting in the 1300 block of N. 1st St.
One male and one female victim. Unknown suspect or motive.
