OAKLAND — A man was injured in a shooting Monday in downtown Oakland, authorities said.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m., police responded to reports of ShotSpotter activity near 13th and Webster streets in the city’s Civic Center neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Other officers also responded, taping off the scene in the 1300 block of Webster and diverting traffic.
Firefighters and paramedics also responded to provide care to the man, whose condition was not immediately available late Monday.
Investigators did not immediately share any suspect or vehicle description.
