A fiery crash left one person dead early Sunday morning on Interstate 580 near Dublin.
Three vehicles collided around 2:30 a.m. on eastbound I-580 underneath Interstate 680, causing at least one vehicle to erupt in flames, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Eric Anderson.
The name of the person killed has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. At least two other people were hospitalized with minor injuries, Anderson said.
One person was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in connection with the crash, he said. Further details about the arrest were not immediately available.
