BRENTWOOD — Police were asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who robbed a bank Tuesday, authorities said.

In a statement, police said officers responded to Fremont Bank, 200 Sand Creek Rd., and learned that a man wearing a medical mask, glasses, a hat and gloves had walked in and given an employee a note demanding cash.

Although police said the man “indicated” he had a gun, no one saw a firearm. After the employee handed over an amount of cash, the man left the bank and got into a light-colored sedan last seen eastbound along Sand Creek, police said.

No one was injured, and investigators did not release any additional update on the incident.
