Young artist contest

The Santa Clara County Office of Education is taking submissions through Feb. 25 for its 2022 Young Artist Showcase Competition. The competition is open to preK-12 public school students in Santa Clara County.

This year’s artwork theme of “Contact Zones: Places Where We Meet” encourages students to show experiences of places and/or events where differences meet and interact, such as schools, neighborhoods or stores. Contact zones can also be where people share a common language, culture or interest.

Artwork will be accepted in four categories: 2D and 3D visual arts, 4D media arts and performing arts. Submissions can be created individually or by a group.
