Fugees fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see the band reunite on tour.

The legendary hip-hop trio, consisting of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel, thrilled its fanbase with the September announcement that the group was going to mount its first world tour in 25 years — and its first concerts of any kind together in 15 years.

Yet, now comes word that the tour — which includes a Bay Area date — is being postponed.

“Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible,” the band announced on its Instagram page.

The Bay Area date was originally scheduled for Nov. 7 at Oakland Arena. The venue website is now showing that the new date is set for March 29.

Other rescheduled dates are also being shown on Ticketmaster.com — with more to come.

“With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates! Full details coming soon along with some special announcements!” the Instagram post read.

The tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of the group’s landmark 1996 album “The Score.”

“The Fugees have a complex but impactful history,” Hill says. “I wasn’t even aware the 25th anniversary had arrived, until someone brought it to my attention. I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved and set an example of reconciliation for the world.”

Besides the Bay Area date, the original tour also itinerary also included stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, Paris and London as well as two dates in Africa — with shows in Nigeria and Ghana.

“As I celebrate 25 years with the Fugees, my first memory was that we vowed, from the gate, we would not just do music, we would be a movement,” Jean says. “We would be a voice for the unheard and in these challenging times, I am grateful once again that God has brought us together.”

“The Score” is one of the biggest albums of all time, having sold 22 million copies worldwide — enough to make it the all time, top-selling hip-hop album by any group. It was nominated for an album of the year Grammy — a first for a hip-hop group — and hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. Singles from the album included “Killing Me Softly,” “Ready or Not” and “Fu-Gee-La.”
