Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction house driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1976 Dodge D100 Royal Sportsman 4WD pickup fitted with custom accessories.

“Dodge D-Series pickup first debuted in 1961 on the Chrysler AD platform, offered in both two-door and four-door body styles,” AutoHunter notes in the truck’s listing. “A second generation was rolled out in 1965 and a third in 1972, offering increasingly rounded fenderwells and an overall design language that mirrored some of Chrysler’s car lineup of the time.”

This 1976 2-door D100, configured in a shortbed body style, has been repainted in light blue accented by navy striping. It wears a pair of auxiliary fog lamps mounted in the recess below the grille, a diamond plate toolbox, aluminum bed caps, side step, rear mudguards and a tow receiver below the rear bumper.

Carrying the body is a set of polished aluminum 15-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch Mastercraft Courser MXT 35-inch all-terrain tires. The truck’s suspension has been lifted to accommodate this setup.

The interior houses a bench seat upholstered in tan cloth and vinyl with color-matched door panels, padded dash and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, a rear window gun rack, fire extinguisher and radio with speakers mounted behind the seat.

Power comes from a 360cid LA V8 equipped with a chrome-finished air cleaner, red top Optima battery and aluminum radio. The engine is linked to a column-shifter 3-speed automatic transmission.

The odometer shows 31,000 miles, although the seller notes true chassis mileage is unknown.

This Dodge pickup’s auction ends September 13 at 11:20 a.m. PDT.
