SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – Authorities are investigating an apparent homicide-suicide in South San Francisco.
Just before 8 p.m. Thursday, officers were asked to do a welfare check at a home on Chestnut Avenue, the South San Francisco Police Department said in a news release.
Officers found a man and a woman dead inside the home. An initial investigation indicated the deaths were the result of a homicide-suicide following a potential domestic dispute, police said.
No other people appeared to be involved, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information related to the case to call 650-877-8900 to speak with a detective.
