REDWOOD CITY – A 27-year-old man was arrested earlier this month after he was found in possession of a “significant amount” of drugs for sale, police said.
Street crime suppression detectives arrested the man April 4 on the 400 block of Veterans Boulevard, the Redwood City Police Department said in a news release Wednesday.
A search of the man and his vehicle turned up 59 grams of fentanyl, 80 grams of methamphetamine, 14 grams of heroin, 65 Xanax pills and 322 oxycodone pills, Investigations Cmdr. Nick Perna said in an email. Perna said the drugs were worth between $10,000 and $15,000.
About $6,400 was also seized as “further evidence of illegal drug sales,” police said in the news release.
The man was arrested and booked into San Mateo County jail on charges of transporting fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin and other drugs for sale, police said.
Anyone with information related to the case can contact Sgt. Jeff Clements at 650-780-7142.
