SAN RAFAEL (BCN) — Firefighters in San Rafael extinguished an apartment fire on Merrydale Road on Monday morning after reports of black smoke billowing from a third-story window were called in.
The fire broke out at the three-story apartment complex at 260 Merrydale Road.
The blaze was reported at 8:41 a.m. and was put out at 8:30 a.m., Marin County Fire Battalion Chief Bret McTigue said.
No further information on the fire was immediately available.
