SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A large police and emergency crew response Friday morning has shut down the area of 3rd and Cesar Chavez Streets near San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood.
Without releasing any details, the the San Francisco Dept. Of Emergency Services tweeted out at 8:30 a.m. — “Avoid the area of 3rd and Cesar Chavez Streets due to Police Activity. Emergency crews are on scene. Expect traffic delays, consider alternate routes, and allow for additional travel time.”
MUNI officials said in response that the T Metro line and surrounding bus lines were being rerouted.
