For the first time ever, Barrett-Jackson is holding a fall auction at WestWorld of Scottsdale, October 10-13. The action started on Thursday, bringing tens of thousands of people in to see more than 200 vehicles cross the auction block, including some from the David M. Ressler Collection, the GM Pace Car Collection, and the Laymon Family Collection.

1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Silverado

American brands accounted for the majority of the top 10 sales of the day, which amounted to more than $635,000. A custom 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Silverado climbed its way to the #1 spot with a high bid of $74,800. It had plenty of company that wore bow tie badges: A custom 1967 Camaro coupe went for $63,250 and secured the #3 spot and a 1955 Bel Air came in at #6 after hammering for $55,000.

2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake

Ford vehicles, including a 2008 Super Snake that took second place, also brought in high-dollar winning bids. Fans of European cars, including a 2012 Mercedes-Benz SL550 that tied with a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 convertible for the #10 sale price of $49,500, put two of them on the leader board.
