In this episode from AutoHunter Cinema, we feature a meticulously restored 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Originally from New Mexico, this classic SUV was purchased in 2016, then underwent a 4.5-year frame-off restoration, with every numbers-matching component and accessory disassembled and rebuilt. The body required no filler and the yellowed plastic drip rails were replaced with stainless steel units.

In addition to the frame and chassis components being restored using POR-15 products, all rubber parts, weather stripping, and hoses were replaced with OEM or aircraft-grade materials. Interior updates include new door lock actuators, power window motors, an under-dash overhaul, and sound-deadening material throughout. The engine bay, drivetrain, and suspension system were completely rebuilt and custom-made leaf springs and new stainless steel brake and transmission lines were installed. This iconic vehicle sold for $71,500 at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Palm Beach Auction.
