“Voters move based on information they’ve either not heard previously, or when they find something that’s surprising or contrary to what their perception of a candidate,” says Pollster Neil Newhouse. “I don’t think Trump voters were surprised at all that in a New York City court of law, a judge decided to fine the President.”
