OAKLAND — Five people, including a 16-year-old girl, were injured in four Oakland shootings that happened within three and a half hours Saturday night, authorities said.

The shootings do not appear to be related at this time, authorities said.

A shooting that left two men wounded occurred about 7:53 p.m. Saturday outside in the 5900 block of San Pablo Avenue in North Oakland.

A 36-year-old Oakland man who had just left a liquor store was shot multiple times by another man who fled in a vehicle before police could respond.

A 34-year-old El Sobrante man who was waiting to pick up some food from a nearby restaurant was hit by stray bullets in the leg, authorities said.

Both men were in stable condition. A motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests have been announced.

The 16-year-old girl was wounded in the foot in an apparent drive-by shooting that happened about 10:40 p.m. in the area of 23rd Street and Telegraph Avenue, authorities said.

The girl had been attending a party in the area and was outside near a group of people when someone in a passing vehicle began shooting toward them, authorities said. The girl was the only one hit. She was in stable condition at a hospital.

Police are trying to determine a motive for the shooting and whether the girl was the intended target. No arrests have been made.

In another drive-by shooting, a 50-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to her face about 7:40 p.m. as she was walking in the 3900 block of Webster Street. She was in stable condition at a hospital.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute the woman was involved in with another person that happened a few minutes earlier at a nearby gas station. Police suspect the shooter was someone associated with the person with whom the victim had the dispute. No arrests have been made.

And about 7:30 p.m. a 57-year-old man was found shot in the leg at 13th Street and Mandela Parkway in West Oakland. The man was taken to a hospital, but police so far have not been able to interview him to determine who shot him and why.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money in the double shooting and up to $5,000 in the other shootings for information leading to the arrests of the suspects. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
