Today’s AutoHunter Cinema feature is Midnight Rider, the world’s largest and heaviest limousine — at over 25 tons, it has even earned a spot in Guinness World Records. The limo has a 40-passenger capacity with four entertainment areas, three lounges and a full-size bar inspired by the glory days of railroad transportation. Pulling Midnight Rider is a 1987 Peterbilt featuring a 435-horsepower Cummins diesel capable of reaching 90 mph. The 300-gallon fuel tank makes it possible to drive from San Diego to Chicago without refueling. At Barrett-Jackson’s 2023 Scottsdale auction, Midnight Rider sold for $330,000.
