The first-generation Ford Mustang has deep roots as the original American pony car. One of the vehicles participating in the Future Collector Car Show this year was a very special 1970 Mustang Boss 302. Power for this muscle car came from a 302cid V8 paired with a Toploader four-speed manual transmission.
According to the owner, the car was originally owned in California and Washington and was kept in storage from 1980 until 2015 until being brought out of hibernation and subsequently treated to a complete inside-and-out restoration. The paint finish was redone in the original Medium Blue color, and the interior was refurbished with high-back black vinyl bucket seats and a period-correct push-button radio. This is a great example of a detail-oriented Mustang build!
