The governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has ramped up his attack on Disney World in Orlando. And Mark Levin believes the governor’s intense focus on the theme park comes from the right place.

“Disney’s had a good run for half a century. Basically, Disney was able to create its own city, with its own firefighters, its own police force, its own tax base.”

“No other corporation in Florida, no other corporation in any state in America, had that kind of authority.”

DeSantis and many others also believe that Disney is pushing its California agenda on the citizens and tourists who come to Florida.

Levin agrees.

“You’re trying to push sexualization of our children in the schools against the wishes of the elected representatives. You’re also pushing critical race theory, you’re pushing DEI and ESG while we’re trying to fight it, the culture war, the battle.”

He says that DeSantis’ willingness to take on Disney is one that “should be celebrated.”

Not only does DeSantis fight well, he’s “changed the politics of the state,” Levin says.

Levin then highlights Bob Iger, a left-wing Democrat who is currently the CEO at Disney. Levin accuses Iger of being the one “who has destroyed Disney.”

“He’s one of these corporate bureaucrats. He is a huge Democrat, supports Biden, supported Obama, and so forth and so on,” Levin explains.

He adds that Ron DeSantis’ position on Disney and the left’s woke agenda is “the same as the position of virtually anybody who cares about how they raise their children.”
