The free Lunar New Year celebration included lion dancers from San Francisco’s Jing Mo group, the Xiaopei Chinese Dancers from Dublin, selfies with a costumed rabbit, kids crafts and martial arts performances.
The Lunar New Year is one of the most important annual celebrations in the Asian community. While traditions vary according to specific region, these festivities all aim to celebrate the start of a new and prosperous year on the lunar calendar.
