Upon its acquisition by the current owner, the F40 was shipped to the Zanasi Group of Maranello, Italy, the official Ferrari factory paint shop for supercars, tailor-made and Icona editions, where it received a cosmetic restoration to its current livery. Today, its final available horsepower output is between 700hp and near 1,000hp based on the setup.
