In our Journal countdown to the end of 2022, we are sharing a selection by our writers of their favorite stories from the year. Today’s list is from Diego Rosenberg, who you may recognize from his latest series showcasing the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN).
Several times a week, I have to write about cars on ClassicCars.com and AutoHunter. If the pictures are no bueno, then I don’t write about that car. The message needs to get out to clients of these two websites that a little care with their photography will pay off in spades … and help me craft a better article promoting their car.
This one was fun to do. There is a method to the madness of how the Chrysler Corporation designated colors in the past so, considering two (B5 and F8) have been revived based on this coding methodology, it only makes sense to explain why these revived colors are called what they are called.
I found it amusing how many people responded to my tongue-in-cheek “Animal House” reference to the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor. Don’t emoticons count for anything? 😉
Who better than Butch Patrick, all-American werewolf, to interview for Halloween? He’s a car guy with a storied automotive background befitting a kid who grew up in Los Angeles in the 1960-70s.
