Unless you have spent the past two years completely isolated from society, you probably already have enough reasons to vote. Inflation, wide open borders, gas prices, out-of-control violent crime, defunding the police, lockdowns, vaccine mandates, et al. These two years have been off the rails. But, maybe more importantly, the midterm election tomorrow is vital to the sanctity of our constitutional rights—namely, the Second Amendment.

Your Gun Rights Are Up for Grabs This Midterm Election – Vote Accordingly

The same people running around the country crying, “threat to democracy!” are the same ones that would love to repeal the Second Amendment. They are not serious people, and they hope you don’t notice. I mean, these are the same people that say it’s a threat to democracy to question the 2020 elections just before saying that Republicans are going to steal the 2022 midterms.

Perhaps this is a good time to remind them that we are not a democracy; we are a Constitutional Republic. This means that threatening our constitutional rights is a true threat to this country. But they still plan to.

Their disdain for the 2A is so fervent that they’ve even discussed removing the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court. If that happens, there would be nothing to stop their attack on the Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment would be the first to go because it is the one that protects all the others. And they know that. It’s why they hate it so much.

Typically, midterm elections do not have the same kind of turnout that a presidential election has. However, after almost two years of a Joe Biden presidency and a Democrat-controlled House and Senate, it’s clear how important this one is. If Democrats control congress after this election, they will see it as a green light to their radical agenda.

Although no candidate is campaigning specifically on repealing the Second Amendment, the gun control lobby is clear they support the idea. And the repeal of the Eighteenth Amendment (prohibiting the sale of alcohol) in 1933 demonstrates that it can be done. However, it would require a two-thirds majority in the House and Senate.

For this reason, registered voters need to get out on election day and make their voices heard.

A Helpful Resource from an Unexpected Source

While polls show voters reject more gun control, and it’s not a leading concern, Democrats keep pushing it. Even Biden promised an “assault weapons” ban if Dems pick up two Senate seats. Poll after poll after poll shows declining support for the agenda. But the Democrats continues to ignore this trend.

Fox News reports, “Support for stricter gun laws has declined in recent years, according to the Pew Research Center. Approximately half of Americans, 53%, support strong gun laws, while 32% believe the laws are fine, and 14% believe laws should be less strict. In prior years, such as September 2019, roughly 60% of Americans reported they wanted stricter gun laws.”

However, their refusal to acknowledge the will of the American people offers an unexpected resource for Second Amendment voters. And it comes from the most unlikely source—Moms Demand Action.

Heading into the midterm election, the organization has created a program listing Gun Sense Candidates. In other words, they have created an exhaustive list of gun grabbers on the ballot. It covers House races, Senate race, Secretary of State, school boards, Governor, Lt. Governor, and everything in between.

The list of candidates endorsed by Moms Demand Action is very sobering. There are a LOT of candidates that want to take your guns. This list should inspire even the most casual gun owner to get out on election night and voice opposition. Our Bill of Rights is literally at stake, and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.

Since Democrats refuse to listen to the American people, let’s make sure that when the vote counting is done, there is no mistake about where we stand on the issue. If they are no longer in office, they can no longer threaten our constitutional rights.

See you at the ballot box.
