HAYWARD — At least three people were injured early Saturday morning in a shooting that resulted from an argument, police said.
Authorities responded at about 2:30 a.m. to the intersection of Main and B streets, near a number of bars and restaurants in downtown Hayward.
The injuries suffered by the victims are not currently life-threatening, though at least one was taken to a hospital, Hayward police spokeswoman Cassondra Fovel said in an interview.
There are at least two suspects, both male, believed to be involved in the shooting, Fovel said.
Police did not have identifying details about the victims on Saturday morning.
Authorities temporarily closed part of B Street in the early morning hours while police investigated the crime scene. The street has since been reopened.
