This interactive map from the California Integrated Seismic Network shows the location and relative size of earthquakes in California over the past week, including the 5.1 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 that rocked the Bay Area.
The quake, with an epicenter in the hills east of San Jose, was felt from Salinas to Stockton to Point Reyes, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or significant damage.
On the map, earthquakes from the past hour are marked in red, from the past day in blue and from the past week in yellow. Larger icons mean greater magnitude. Click on an icon for more details of a particular quake.
