Clean water classes
West Valley Clean Water Authority—the agency that prevents stormwater pollution in Los Gatos and other South Bay cities—is hosting two virtual classes this month to help residents do their part to keep local water clean.
The first class, which will take place Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m., will focus on capturing rainwater. Participants will learn about creating rain barrels and other systems to reuse and repurpose rainwater. The next class, to be held Oct. 29 at 10 a.m., will teach residents how to create drought-tolerant gardens with native plants. To learn more and attend the classes, visit cleancreeks.org.
