Shares of Atlis Motor Vehicles surged Tuesday after making their debut on the Nasdaq Stock Market. But the electric-vehicle technology company fell Wednesday after the stock had soared more than 736% over the past two days.
Atlis Motor (ticker: AMV) is an Arizona-based producer of EV batteries and work trucks. The company was founded in 2016 by Chief Executive Mark Hanchett. Atlis develops its own batteries and offers that technology to other companies.
