OAKLAND — Two men were shot early Saturday near the Uptown district, authorities said.
Both men, one 43 and the other 44, were in stable condition. Police were not sure where they lived but said the men knew each other.
The shooting was reported about 2:04 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of Broadway outside a club.
Police said there was a dispute of some kind that erupted into gunfire, leaving the two men wounded. No other injuries were reported. The wounded men got their own transportation to a hospital.
What the dispute was about is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
