Los Angeles – A leaked document between the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office and California Attorney General Rob Bonta reveals a proposed destruction of the agency in order to reduce law and order through the lens of BLM and the ACLU.
The proposed settlement agreement is an extension of media reports on supposed “gangs” being inside the sheriff’s department.
While no one believes a “gang member” should be a police officer, the agreement goes much further than that, including defining a deputy gang “through one or more means including, but not limited to, sharing hand signs, a symbol, a tattoo, paraphernalia.”
Obviously, the definition is vague and radical cop hating groups love vagueness.
The document continues:
“The County and LASD acknowledge and agree that Deputy Gang participants do not possess the skills and qualities desired for promotional opportunities where they will be required to uphold the law and fundamental principles of professional policing.”
Use of Force
There are also some troubling aspects of Use of Force, “LASD shall revise its use of force policies to articulate that de-escalation is an affirmative duty of all sworn personnel in all instances…”
Deputies will also be prohibited from placing their knees on the back of a suspect, using hobbling restraints or making someone walk a long distance, regardless of what the suspect is doing. Spit masks are also now prohibited.
Tasers cannot be used more than three times on a suspect, regardless of the suspect’s actions.
Any strike to the head by any means, including limbs will now be considered deadly force, even though not every strike to the head is deadly force.
Solo foot pursuits are prohibited.
The document continues with crazy. You can read it here.
