Now on AutoHunter, the auction platform powered by ClassicCars.com, is this 1977 Ford F-150 Custom SuperCab. It goes down the road and gets work done with the power of a 351ci V8, which is connected to a three-speed automatic transmission. In the last 48 years, this half-ton truck has only racked up 56,734 original miles. It’s dressed in the handsome combination of Wimbledon White and Copper Metallic over a tan vinyl interior and comes from an Oregon dealer with the original registration, warranty papers, air conditioning and owner’s manuals, and a clear title.
White covers the roof of the cab and Wimbledon White runs along the sides of the body and across the tailgate between layers of Copper Metallic. Other exterior features include a chrome front bumper, a Styleside bed with a bed liner, and a diamond-plate rear bumper with a tow hitch.
There’s another shade of white on the 15-inch wheels, which have dog dish hub caps and 235/75 Firestone Destination radial tires.
The inside of the SuperCab offers two rows of tan vinyl seating as well as a factory AM radio and an automatic shifter and a trailer brake controller mounted on the steering column. There is also factory air conditioning, which has been converted to R-134a refrigerant.
Behind the two-spoke steering wheel is an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for the oil pressure, temperature, alternator, and fuel level. The odometer shows 56,734 miles, which the selling dealer states is the truck’s original mileage.
The engine bay holds a 351ci V8, which is connected to a two-barrel carburetor and a three-speed automatic transmission.
Underpinnings include a Twin I-Beam front suspension and power drum brakes.
