Black Friday is November 29. That means big deals on TV, clothes, and other stuff you probably don’t need in the first place. If you want to get something out of the ordinary this Black Friday, you can pre-order the Bronco Black ICE Edition from Kindred Motorworks.

Given the Black ICE Edition’s glossy Black Ice paint, black wood interior trim, black-on-black badging, and all-black 18-inch Method forged aluminum wheels, the inspiration behind its name may seem obvious, but there’s a little more to it than that. The “Black” is also a nod to its pre-order date. “ICE” means it has an internal-combustion engine: a 5.0-liter Ford “Coyote” V8.

Like the Vallejo, California-based company’s other Broncos, the Black ICE Edition comes standard with features such as full LED lighting, BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, four-wheel disc brakes, Recaro leather buckets with headrests and three-point seat belts, cup holders, a backup camera, power windows, and more. It also gets the Warn Zeon 10-S winch, tow hitch, and rear-mounted tire carrier from the Kindred Bronco Trail Edition, which is “built from 1966 to 1975 vehicles,” according to the company. Its website also shows Trail Editions have the 460-horsepower third-generation Coyote V8, a 10-speed automatic, an Atlas transfer case, a Dana 44 limited-slip front diff, and a Ford nine-inch limited-slip rear diff.

You’ll want to make sure you’re ready to go at 8:00 a.m. ET on Black Friday because Kindred Motorworks will only be making five Black ICE Broncos. And have your accountant on standby – the retail price for this ebony exclusivity is $214,000. Should you be one of the first three buyers, your rig will be shipped out to you in Q1 2025. If you’re customer #4 or #5, expect to receive your Bronco Black ICE Edition in the second quarter of next year – and lots of double-takes on the road after that (in the sunlight, at least).
