The Pick of the Day is a 2008 Aston Martin Vantage for sale on ClassicCars.com by a dealer in New York. Before you all comment on how Aston Martin service costs are crazy, just take a second and look at this stunning car. It is painted in what they call Glacier Blue, and it may be one of the most beautiful colors I have ever seen on any Aston Martin vehicle. It shows off the stunning Ian Callum lines of this design better than anything and pairs perfectly with the beige leather interior.

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was a car that was designed to go head-to-head with the Porsche 911. Yes, the 911 beats it in some performance areas, but no single Porsche road car has the exquisite design or drama of an Aston Vantage.

The Farmingdale, New York, dealer selling this car states that it boasts a pristine history with no accidents or blemishes and only 53,358 miles on the odometer. It features Aston’s hand-built 4.3L V8 engine that produces 400 horsepower at 7000 rpm by virtue of its AM N400 Power Pack air boxes and tune. In addition, this Vantage also features a dealer-installed back box for the exhaust system for reduced back pressure. The performance stats include a 0-60 mph of just 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 175 mph, making it plenty fast enough for 2024.

The seller goes on to say that this Vantage features many modern conveniences including tire pressure monitoring, parking sensors, and USB inputs. The car has recent Ceramic Pro treatment and it has PPF on the front end, rear bumper and rockers. Meticulously maintained, this Aston had a full major service last year at a cost of more than $6,000.

I have spent a few hundred miles behind the wheel of the Aston Martin Vantage, and it is the kind of car that you can use every day to make the most mundane driving feel quite special. The combination of the top quality materials used in the interior, the sound of the engine, and what has to be one of the most spectacular gauge clusters in the history of the automobile, make driving the Vantage an experience that never gets stale or boring. Sure, other cars can out perform it these days, but the Aston Martin Vantage is is much more than just a fast sports/GT car. It is the automobile equivalent of an A. Lange & Söhne timepiece, where cars such as the Porsche 911 are more like a Rolex.

This Aston Martin Vantage in this simply beautiful color combination is being offered by the seller at an asking price of $49,900. That seems like a tremendous deal for a car as special as this one. The combination of the options on this specific car combined with its history makes it the one I would personally recommend that you should add to your garage. If you think that is crazy, do what I suggested in the beginning of this story and take another look at this gorgeous car and then try to convince me I am wrong.
