Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1965 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside pickup. It was put through a frame-off restoration in 2023 that included new paint, trim, interior components, and mechanical parts. A 327ci V8 supplies power and sends it to the road through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Finished in burgundy and white over a brown vinyl interior, this first-generation C/K-series truck is now offered by the seller with a clear title.

As part of the restoration last year, the exterior was refinished in burgundy and white and equipped with a new grille, chrome bumpers, and side trim. The short bed has a wood plank floor and covered tailgate chains.

Underneath the two-tone body is a white set of 17-inch wheels equipped with chrome center caps and beauty rings and wrapped in 235/60 Firestone radial tires.

The single cab’s interior is furnished with a brown vinyl bench seat that has quilted inserts. Features include a tilt steering column, power steering, and a removable center console with a USB charging port. During the 2023 restoration, a new wood steering wheel and new rubber door seals, window mechanisms, sun visors, and carpeting were installed.

Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and various warning lights. A pair of AutoMeter gauges under the dashboard show the oil pressure and water temperature. The odometer reads 79,113 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

Under the hood is a 327ci V8 that comes equipped with double-hump heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock air cleaner, and a dual exhaust system. The engine is paired with a Muncie four-speed manual gearbox. New parts include the radiator and in-line fuel filter.

More new parts are found under this truck, such as the power brakes (which are discs at the front, drums at the rear, and connected to a new master cylinder), brake lines, and wheel bearings.

The seller notes that a rubber gasket is needed at the base of the antenna or near the firewall to prevent water from leaking in during car washes and that the battery has been on a maintenance charger.

The auction for this 1965 Chevrolet C10 ends on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:15 a.m. (PDT).
