West Palm Beach – Shots were fired in the area of former President Donald Trump on Sunday afternoon. Sources tell Law Officer that the former president was golfing and was approaching the fifth green, when approximately four shots were fired.
The Secret Service quickly covered President Trump and evacuated him from the area.
The shooting happened outside the Trump International Golf Course. Sources indicate that the Secret Service has recovered a rifle and they have video of a vehicle picking up a possible suspect from the area.
Drone video in the area picked up some of the incident, although it is unknown what the video revealed at this time.
The suspect left the rifle behind and that was subsequently recovered by law enforcement.
It is unknown whether the gunfire was intended for the former president or part of another altercation.
Reports indicate that at least one vehicle has been identified.
