Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 2007 Shelby GT500 427 Super Snake, which commemorates Shelby’s sponsorship of the NASCAR race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is powered by a 725-horsepower supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that sends power to the road through a TREMEC six-speed manual gearbox. Finished in Black with Shelby Tungsten tape stripes over a Black and Red leather interior, this Super Snake comes from the selling dealer with a window sticker, build sheet, clean CARFAX report, and clear title.

The Black exterior wears optional Shelby Tungsten tape stripes down the middle. Features include a carbon fiber front splitter, fog lights, front and rear brake ducts, a vented fiberglass hood with hood pins, carbon fiber mirror caps, sail panel scoops, rear louvers, a rear spoiler, and sequential taillights.

Under the flared fenders is a set of 20-inch Shelby Alcoa wheels wrapped in 255/35 front and 275/35 rear Pirelli P Zero tires.

The cockpit is furnished with Black and Red leather seats with embroidered first-row headrests and color-coordinated door panels. It comes equipped with a six-way power driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a consecutively numbered dash plaque, an embroidered center console storage compartment lid, an AM/FM/MP3 Shaker audio system with a six-disc in-dash CD player, a short-throw shifter, and 427 Super Snake floor mats.

The primary vehicle information is displayed on a 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and boost pressure. The auxiliary gauges on the dashboard show the boost, fuel, and oil pressures. The digital odometer reads 1,292 miles; as of August 2024, the most recent figure on the CARFAX report is 1,297 miles.

Power is supplied by a 5.4-liter V8 equipped with a cold-air intake and a Kenne Bell supercharger that increases output to 725 horsepower. The engine is connected to a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission. According to the selling dealer, the oil and oil filter were changed in August 2024.

Suspension hardware consists of Shelby/Eibach coilovers and sway bars. Shelby/Baer brakes with red six-piston calipers bring this Super Snake to a stop. The engine transmits its output through a one-piece driveshaft and a 3.73:1 rear end. It breathes through a Borla cat-back exhaust system with dual outlets.

The selling dealer notes there is slight wear on the seats and discloses that a $499 dealership fee will be added to the sale price.

The CARFAX report’s coverage starts in 2007 and shows an accident-free, two-owner history in New York and Florida.
