A New Hopening

The force is with 7 Stars as the sci-fi-themed bar and grill gets ready to open the doors on its downtown Campbell location. After closing their San Jose location in 2021, owners Paul and Marya Cunha are looking toward a “New Hopening” at 400 E. Campbell Ave., the former location of LVLUP.

Fundraising preview nights of the new 7 Stars are set for Sept. 13-14, 8 pm.-midnight. Tickets are $200 at Eventbrite.com.

A soft opening is set for Sept. 19, followed by a grand opening on Sept. 20-21. After that, regular hours will be Tuesday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight, and Friday-Monday, 11 a.m.-midnight.

The extended hours on Mondays and Fridays are targeted toward patrons who might want to get a little time in on their laptops.

“We want to see if we can be your remote work location,” Marya Cunha said in a video on 7 Stars’ Facebook page. “We have excellent WiFi.”
