ANTIOCH — A 52-year-old woman was shot and injured at the Sycamore Square parking lot near Sycamore Drive and Peppertree Way on Saturday evening, according to Antioch police. The motive for the attack has not been determined.
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a hospital, but no further details on her condition were available Sunday morning.
“Officers immediately provided first aid to the victim until paramedics arrived,” the Antioch Police Department said in a press release.
