In this episode of Interesting Finds on AutoHunter Cinema, we explore a stunning 1956 Ford Thunderbird, Ford’s answer to the Chevrolet Corvette and a symbol of the golden age of American automotive design. This Thunderbird, returned to its original glory with a frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration, features its original Peacock Blue color, fender skirts, and both hard and soft tops.

Under the hood is a 312ci V8, which is paired with a Ford-O-Matic transmission. This Thunderbird was cherished by its owner in Florida since 2007 and just sold at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Palm Beach Auction for $49,500.
