Around 53 people in Palo Alto did not have power as of Monday morning, according to a notification by city officials.
The outage started around 2:21 a.m. and initially affected around 3,300 customers between late Sunday night and early Monday morning. By 7:30 a.m., only 53 customers were out of power.
Power is estimated to be restored by noon. The cause of the outage is electrical failure, according to the city’s outage map.
A crew has been assigned to the outage. Palo Alto is one of few California cities that owns and operates a municipal utility service.
