Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 2019 Dodge Durango R/T RWD sport-utility vehicle.

Leather seating for six, HEMI V8 power, a rear entertainment system, and tri-zone automatic climate control are features that can make any long-distance road trip more enjoyable. If your summer travels involve a need to haul a few passengers (and their cargo) in both style and comfort, your executive ride has arrived. This highly-optioned Durango is being offered for sale by a dealer in Cicero, Indiana, and the auction will end Wednesday.

The Durango was first brought to the sport-utility market in 1998 and shared a close relationship with its Dodge siblings, the Dakota and Ram pickups. Since that time, over two million Durangos have been sold over the last 25-plus years. From its beginning, the Durango was marketed with the idea that cargo-hauling and people-hauling could be done with a vehicle that was more sexy, capable, and performance-oriented than a minivan.

The third, and current, generation of the Durango has been around since 2011. The R/T variant was known for its high-performance approach and came with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that was rated at 360 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. A total of about 106,000 miles have been added to this Durango since it was new, and the CARFAX history shows about a dozen service records over the course of its lifetime including an oil change last November.

According to the window sticker, the vehicle carried an original retail price of $52,205. The option list is extensive, including ventilated front seats, 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, a rear DVD entertainment center, second-row captain’s chairs, a power sunroof, 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a heated steering wheel, remote start, and blind-spot and cross-path detection systems. The phrase “fully loaded” comes to mind.

The Durango was touted to be a “no-compromise” SUV and was promoted for having class-leading towing and driving range, confident driving dynamics, and aggressive styling. It’s the type of vehicle that delivers both utility and performance. And thanks to the rocking audio and entertainment system, it is bound to make long-distance drives more enjoyable for both driver and passengers. Don’t miss your chance to place a bid on this HEMI-powered SUV.
