Costco is a popular warehouse club with hundreds of locations worldwide. The retailer has over 600 clubs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, and continues to expand to help more people keep more money in their checking accounts.
There are three more clubs set to open in U.S. cities this October. If you don’t yet have a club near your home, you may wonder if one of these new locations will open in your area. Here’s what you need to know.
These cities will welcome Costco this fall
Costco lists upcoming club locations on its website. According to the retailer, new clubs will open in three U.S. cities this fall, two of which are in California.
New clubs are set to open in these locations this October:
-
Napa, California
-
Bend, Oregon
-
Pleasanton, California
No exact opening dates or club hours have been announced at this time. If you have questions about one of these clubs, contact Costco for more information. If you live near these cities, you may want to consider becoming a member to shop members-only deals.
If you’re not living in these areas, reviewing upcoming club openings at Costco.com is an excellent way to stay informed. The company is continually expanding. The retailer opened new clubs in six other U.S. cities earlier this summer.
Here’s how much it costs to join Costco
Want to become a Costco member? You must pay a yearly membership fee, which currently ranges from $60 to $120.
However, membership prices are about to increase in September. As of Sept. 1, 2024, these annual fees will cost $65 to $130. Luckily, it won’t be much of a noticeable price difference.
For many shoppers, this yearly fee is well worth the cost, considering the savings they get. Costco also offers a money-back guarantee on memberships. But only invest in a membership if you can afford the added expense.
Maximize your savings at Costco
Costco is known for its low prices. But in addition to these, the retailer offers additional discounts. If you want to maximize your savings, stay alert to current sales. You can browse sales and promotions at Costco.com or the Costco mobile app.
Doing this before you head to your local club is wise because you can maximize your savings. It’s also a smart idea because you can organize a shopping list before you arrive, so you’re not tempted to overspend by adding items you don’t need to your cart.
